About Our President
The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg, FL has elected Jim Williams to serve as president, beginning July 1, for the 2025-26 year. He is the Vice President. for Fund Development at Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc.
He joined the club in 2012 and has served on the club’s board of directors for the last five years.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Insurance and Estate Planning from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science Degree in Financial Services from The American College. He has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Development Executive and other designations.
He is a past president for The Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center Foundation. He is a current board member for the Charitable Gift Planners of Tampa Bay and serves as the volunteer music director for 30th Avenue Baptist Church.
He also serves as a member of the Mayfly Project which is a mentoring program for foster children through fly-fishing.
A Floridian by birth and resident of St. Petersburg since 1975, he is married to his beautiful bride Sue. They have three wonderful children and six fantastic grandchildren
He joins a group of distinguished community, civic and business leaders who have led the organization since it was founded in 1920, beginning with William Straub.
Our all-inclusive programs cater to individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse and mental health disorders. Comprehensive treatment includes a range of services, such as psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual and group therapy, family therapy and recreational therapy.
